~ by Art Hackers

Are you new to painting, or do you want to refresh your basics? Well, you’re in luck. Below you will find three essential drawing tips from top artists in the digital Drawing for Beginners program, presented EasyAnimeDrawings.

These important guidelines will help you improve your skills and produce successful drawings. Enjoy!

1: Stand Back and Look Back and Forth

Take a break and step back a few feet throughout your drawing, flipping back and forth between your drawing and your reference image multiple times. This gives you new eyes – the same result as leaving your drawing for a while and then coming back to see if it is accurate.

If you do not do this, you will find it challenging to keep up with the shadow painting to leave a ghostly image that you will not be able to erase. I recommend applying this secret to all of your drawing moments, especially before starting a challenging quest.

2: Draw Down

When you can’t figure out the identity of the image (bird, for example), you start to focus more on the shapes you make. This deceives your mind into taking complex pictures that you may find intimidating.

3: Basic Conditions and Measures in Personal Imagery

The trapezoid shape, which has a comprehensive section at the top, works well to elevate the upper part of the human body from the shoulders to the waist. A short trapezoid turned upside down can be rough in the trunk area from the waist to the crotch.

For the average person, the crotch is the centre of the figure. The arms and hands hang down to the centre or slightly over.

The head is oval. The average adult is about six heads long and neck long. The two trapezoid shapes representing the trunk are usually as long as the two parts of the head and neck.

The upper legs rise to the lower extremities to connect with the pelvis, making the area where the legs and feet are located about three and a half times the head and neck.
